I made it this far, after the summer sports camp and the pre-season practices I now play for two teams in the same club, this includes the 1996 team and the Junior Team, which includes player from 16-20. This rids me of any free time, but when haven't I enjoyed a good brawl, after all that what hockey is all about... The goals, the hits and the fights. To be fair when I play for the Junior team I've got to dodge hits most of the time and this year I aim to gain some muscle mass to have a mass of about 95kg, then I might have a chance of taking down the bigger ones, now I'm just too small for it. This will link into weight-lifting and athletics as they will help me improve on my physical condition, the only problem at the moment are the injuries I received: a disconnected shoulder and my two wrists that were bruised in the last game, when my hands were slashed across with the blade of a hockey stick.
In the 1996 team I am the leading defence-man at the moment, most of the game is focused on me, thus more responsibility and exactly why I go on ice along with my injuries. I am supposed to set an example by showing sportsman-like conduct (as the players have problems with penalties) and actually showing how a defence-man should play.

- This increased my awareness of my strengths and areas of growth
- This enabled me to work collaboratively with others
- Shown perseverance in my activity (12 years running, dare you to beat that
In the near future I would like to work on my slap-shots and backhanders, as well as practicing boarding players.
